Therapy or Psychotherapy is an approach to counselling that uses evidence based therapeutic approaches with the clients who may be dealing with mental health challenges or other serious life disturbances. Counselling at Gray Matter Health is often used to describe sessions designed to assist anyone who requires support, intervention, mediation, conflict resolution or simple talk therapy. Coaching refers to the type of work done with individual clients who require motivation, career direction, or self improvement strategies.
Our therapy services are private, confidential and we provide a safe space for dialogue.

Mental Health Recovery Group
Build resilience through this mental health recovery program. We utilize both ACT therapy perspectives to challenge and inspire you as you work towards recovery, resilience and healing. Feeling truly you again is possible!
The goals of this group are:
- To help you create a rich and meaningful life
- To teach you the skills to handle painful thoughts and feelings more effectively
- To help facilitate growth, behaviour change and personal development
- To become value driven and motivated towards achieving goals that are important to you.
- To work towards mental health recovery
- To help facilitate personal growth, change and development
- To manage symptoms and introduce coping tools and strategies
Groups help you to find your voice, build confidence & combat anxiety in a space that aims to be safe, inviting and non-judgemental. This group would be great for those who have anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, Trauma or just want to work on improving your mental health. This 6 week virtual or in-person program will take place on Thursdays at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Lily In The Valley
couples pre-marital prep
This is a 6 week prep course for individual couples or groups of couples.
Determine relationship “blind spots”, improve connection, fine tune your communication, assess compatibility and deepen your understanding of one another in these six pre-marital prep therapy sessions for couples who are thinking of marriage, already engaged or are newly married.

Family Therapy sessions are for two or more family members who want to work together to resolve family issues, problems or concerns. Work on improving the emotional health and functioning of the family unit while employing techniques and exercises that enhance the connections within the family system.
GROUPS

Group Sessions as described above. Group therapy is an opportunity to receive support, feedback and connection with others who are experiencing similar challenges. Work on changing attitudes habits, behaviours and beliefs that are keeping you stuck. Sessions are for groups of 5 to 10 people.
